The school works within the grading structure determined by 'An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelach', that is Beginner, Primary, Intermediate and Open grades. You can start as a Beginner at any age.
Dancers may progress through the grades only by attendance at an Irish Dance competition called a Feis.

Dancers will dance in an age group based on their age on the 1st of January that year, e.g. if you were born on the 17th March 1999, during 2010 you would dance in the U11 (under 11) age group as you would have been age 10 on the 1st Jan 2010
